Well, here we are, I’ve just started my blog and plan on getting onto this whole ‘working blog’ thing.
The best part I think is probably that my employers can track progress through here.
We wrapped up out first night of photography on a project for the Blues Brothers Revival Band last night. The production is a short intorduction for their concerts, and will also be used as a promotional piece. Due to the intended end-medium (projection) it was all shot in 4:3, and to save on potential hassles we also shot interlaced, although in future I would prefer to do our next in progressive.
I’m about to put together a rough edit from our rushes and then deliver it to the manager of the band, just so we can see how it is coming together.
Also, I’ll more than likely leave grab open and use this project as a way to write up a Final Cut Pro tutorial for filmmakers.net.au
